One of the artists that first inspired me to take art seriously is Micheal Shapcott. He will forever remain my favorite. He has some wonderful video tutorials up on youtube. I also really like two watercolor artists by the names of Agnes Cecile, and Lora Zombie. They both inspired me to try watercolor and it’s now one of my favorite mediums. I also really like Alex Pardee because his paintings are so imaginative and original. Also, even though he isn’t alive so there aren’t any videos on youtube(haha), Van Gogh shall forever remain one of my favorite artists of all time. Even though I’m not an impressionist painter, I just think that his whole life was an inspiration and his paintings are so beautiful. His use of color is brilliant and there never has been, nor will there ever be, anyone quite like him. I adore the man. And I haven’t heard of Marjolain Calijou, but I will definitely look them up!
